About UCSD EXCEL Leadership Conference

The 18th Annual University of California, San Diego EXCEL Leadership Conference is a conference hosted by the UC San Diego Greek Community. Our goal is to bring together hundreds of college and high school student leaders from many campuses so that they may engage in a leadership experience they will never forget. All participants are encouraged to share ideas, network, and gain wisdom either from our renowned keynote speakers Michael Pole and David Stollman, or by the variety of workshops that are offered.

The EXCEL Leadership Conference has grown exponentially each year in both its attendance and its breadth of leadership aspects covered. All participants will have the opportunity to interact with nationally recognized speakers, faculty, staff, and student representatives/leaders from the UC San Diego campus. We have geared this conference towards the student leader who has the drive and vision to be an active member of their community - whether it may be their school's campus community, their work community, or their local residential community. This conference aims to cultivate young leaders so that they may actively learn about contemporary issues that will foster ideas and EXCEL them as an individual and organization.

EXCEL OBJECTIVES

To provide students with concrete ideas, concepts, skills and tools to improve their organizations. When students leave, we want them to have specific goals and feel empowered to implement these goals in their organizations, their academic lives, and their future careers.
